Fictional story writing competition using ChatGPT

In this competition participants get a theme of a story and are expected to write a fictional story based on the theme using ChatGPT. After receiving the theme they have 30 minutes to write their story and refine it. The submission need to include their prompt and the story.

Competition Rules

  1. Use of ChatGPT is Required
    All stories must be created using ChatGPT. Students can guide, revise, and re-prompt as needed.

  2. Topic Adherence
    Each participant must write a story based on the provided topic/theme.

  3. Word Limit
    Story must be between 1500-2000 words

  4. Prompt Submission Required
    Students must submit:

    • The final story

    • The exact prompts they used (copy-paste)

    • There should not be any changes to story after ChatGPT's response

  5. Individual Work Only
    Submissions must be created individually. No group work or outside adult help allowed.

  6. Plagiarism Not Allowed
    The story must be original, not copied from another source or another AI model.

  4. Write a story about a student who discovers a hidden AI assistant on their school laptop. It offers to help with homework — but wants something in return.

  5. Write a story about a kid who starts a kindness movement at school using only sticky notes. It grows into something way bigger than expected.

  6. Write a story about a future where money doesn’t exist and everything runs on reputation points. A student finds a loophole in the system that could change society.
